CME Information
Purpose and Intended Audience
The primary objective of this project is to design and evaluate a series of practical
web-based educational modules on genetics research ethics for members of Institutional
Review Boards and investigators to facilitate the development and oversight of important
research that is sensitive to the relevant ethical, legal and social issues.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize some of the major ethical issues that can be encountered in reproductive genetics research
- Describe ways of minimizing harms related to these issues

Instructions for Completing This Activity
This module consists
of the Presentation of Content, followed by a short Content Post-Test
and an Evaluation Form.
In order to receive CME credit or a certificate of completion, please complete the
Presentation, Post-Test and Evaluation (~45 minutes total).
Following the evaluation, you will have the option of selecting CME
credit for participation.
